The BFA established under BFA Act 2014 and started functioning w.e.f 04-03-2019. The sanctioned strength of Posts are 183 as per following Breakup.

Mission
The Balochistan Food Authority is committed to ensuring food safety and quality throughout the entire food chain. By adhering to scientific principles and international best practices, the Authority collaborates with manufacturers, Food Business Operators, consumers, government departments, autonomous bodies, and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.
